Our Community
Wayne Township is located in northern Cass County, Michigan, sharing a border with Van Buren County. Our population is 2,654 residents (2010 census data). We have four school districts, Dowagiac, Decatur, Cassopolis and Marcellus.

Wayne Township is a wonderful rural community comprised of farmland, forests, subdivisions and lakes. We enjoy the peace that comes with rural community living but we are minutes away from services in the City of Dowagiac and within 30 minutes from larger community amenities offered in Mishawaka, IN, Kalamazoo, MI or St. Joseph, MI.

Township Board meetings normally occur on the first Monday of the month at 6:30 pm unless that falls on a holiday or there is a election the next day.
